The open hatch design of Gearbulk vessels removes the need for fork lifts in the hold thus reducing the chance of chipped blocks.

Discharge takes place either to quay, barge or coaster depending on fixture terms. Gearbulk provides transhipment and on-carriage to final destination where required.
